🌟 How much does this cost?
Initial appointments are $60 to accommodate chart review and an extended intake.
Prairie Star offers a sliding scale for community acupuncture: $30–$60 for subsequent follow-up appointments, payable at the time of service. Choose the amount that works best for you—no income questions asked.
Payment options include cash, check, or credit/debit card. Gift certificates are available. Cash is preferred at this time.
Gift certificates are available for treatments and make a thoughtful way to share the gift of wellness.
📬 Do you accept health insurance?
At this time, Prairie Star does not bill health insurance directly. However, I’m happy to provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance provider if your plan includes out-of-network acupuncture coverage. If you have questions or need help with documentation, just ask—I’m here to make your care as accessible as possible.
📞 What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Late cancellations & no-shows: Less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments will be charged a $30 no-show fee.
- Exceptions: Life happens! Emergencies or unavoidable situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
